Pop. 151. In Denbigh T., Lennox & Addington c., on Hwys. 28 & 41,61 km NE of Bancroft. The area was settled in the 1850s and first called Cedar Lake Settlement.
The post office opened in 1863 and later the name Was changed to Denbigh Village after Denbighshire, Wales., a place known for its iron and coal mines.

Denbigh is a lovely hamlet facing a small clean lake. We have been visiting for years while enjoying the highlands many recreational opportunities. We have recently bought and built in Denbigh it truly is a friendly safe place to live. Try the baking on Saturdays at the Post Office/General Store its out of this world
