Pop. 126. In Eastnor T., Bruce C., on Hope Bay off Georgian Bay, 2 km E of C. Rd. 9, 16 km N of Wiarton.
Settlement began in the 1850s and a post office was established in 1876, honouring Col. Henry Hope, member of the Legislative Council and Administrator of Quebec in 1785.
