Pop. 37. In Snowdon T., Haliburton C. on Burnt R. and C. Rd. 1, 12 km E of Minden.
One of the first settlers was Eliazer Yerex in 1872. The place was' first called Egypt and when the Victoria Railroad came through the station was called Ingoldsby. In 1895 the post office was established as Loclin.
