Pop. 40. In Long T., Algoma Dist. on the North Channel of L. Huron and Hwy. 17, 19 km E of Blind River.
The place was first called McFerson. In 1950 Pronto Uranium Mine, part of Rio Algoma Ltd., which had mines here and at nearby Spragge, built a subdivision for its employees.
