- Pop. 100. In Rolph T., Renfrew C. on Hwy. 17 and C. Rd. 635, 19 km NW of Deep River.
- The place took its name for the T. named in 1855 for John Rolph from Thombury, England. He was an MP, supporter of William Lyon Mackenzie and founder of the Toronto School of Medicine.
- In 1947 a housing colony was built for workers at the Des Joachims power development.
