Wow, wow!!!! what a wonderful place!!!!! I went with my boys for our once a year fishing trip. We have gone to other places in past years but this is the best by far. We had a blast!!!! The weather was perfect. I would even say a bit too hot. The owners are such friendly and nice people they treat you like a family when you're there. The cabin was close to the water, which made it even better. Cabin was nice, clean, even though it was under upgrades. There even is a fish cleaning station very close. Carl helps to put the boat in the water for you, and when you're leaving, he takes it out as well. I really can't say one bad thing about this place! We will definitely go there next year for our fishing trip again!!!!!!!!
The lake is big and yes it's true that it is very weady( Ricelake) so you have to take your time to know where to go. First day boys caught a 4 lbs bass!!! There are other fish in the lake as well. We got about 30 fish all together. Thank you, Carl and family, very much for the joy you gave to my boys and me!!! Keep up the fabulous atmosphere!!!!
We will return 100%!!!!!!!!

We stayed there four days and it’s lovely place to enjoy the holidays,
The owner of the place and her husband and their son are very professional and cooperative, each cottage is fully functional and equipped with all basic necessities
They replied your fone calls and text right away and runns for emergency services.
Its very neat and clean very convenient place to enjoy with the family.
We will definitely recommend everyone and will go back again
Dabby is best lady to serve you and guide you

Just got back from a weeks stay at Sunshine Cove and had a great time. Stayed in cottage 3 and rented a boat, both which were clean and running well. This is a small resort with 12 cottages, making it very cozy. New owners took over this year and are learning the ropes and doing just fine. They were always available by cellphone if we needed anything. They even went out to the middle of the lake to rescue one of the boaters. Don't know what the bad reviews were about because I can't say one bad thing about this place. We would definitely recommend this place. This is now our go to on Rice Lake. Thanks Debbie and Carl.
