  • Chelsea is the owner and operator of Do’s For Dogs Salon. She graduated from Durham College in 2017 and completed the Animal care course becoming a certified animal care assistant (ACA). Chelsea originally started at the salon through a co-op lead by Norwood District High School. She has been grooming dogs for 10 years, she took over ownership of the business in January 2022. Chelsea enjoys every aspect of grooming dogs but especially enjoys dealing with more timid, fearful and aggressive dogs.
  • Caterina has been working at the salon for 2 years and originally joined our team at Do’s For Dogs starting out as a co-op student from St. Theresa’s High School in Belleville. Upon completion she continued to work with us and has become a valuable asset to our team. Cat has excelled as a groomer and her love for dogs shows in her work. She occasionally takes her little pug Jojo to work for the day and can often be found at the Marmora dog park. In her free time Cat loves to go to concerts as w
  • Amy is the newest member of our team, she is very detail oriented ensuring that every pup that leaves is looking their best! Many of you may recognize her from around Havelock, she was in the retail industry and frequently participates in vendor markets around the area! In her free time Amy enjoys crocheting in order to prepare for the markets. She also enjoys tending to her chickens and taking her dog Arlo for an evening walk after work.

  • We are a stress free grooming salon.
  • Your dog will experience a complete brush out and clipping which also includes nail trimming and ear cleaning. A nice bath involving two shampoos to ensure cleanliness, your dog will experience a kind gentle bath with lots of suds
  • Drying time depends on the dog. We use High velocity dryers as well as hand held to fluff your pet and begin the feel good. They then receive a final brush, comb and clip with scissoring by hand and of course, a treat to end the groom!!
  • I call you as soon as I’m done so your pet does not have to linger all day in anticipation of your return.

My labradoodle is afraid of other groomers, but he LOVES coming here! They do a great job. Bath, nails, haircut. And when I come to pick him up, he’s happy and not even in a rush to leave. He’s tried to follow one of the girls back into the grooming room more than once. I don’t think he’s an easy dog to handle. He’s young, big and nervous. At home he tries to jump and chew everyone new! But these groomers are soooo good to him. This is the only place I’ll ever take him again.

We have been taking our little Harold (aka Bum Bum) to Do's For Dogs for 4 years now. Harold is a senior with some health issues. Chelsea, Caterina and the rest of the staff have always taken special care of him. We appreciate the staff and everything they do to make Harold's spa day less stressful. Took my neurotic 70 pound doodle to get groomed here and it was a smashing success! First positive sign was when we dropped her off and my dog walked away with the groomer and didn’t make it seem like she was being dog napped. This place obviously has great vibes! My dog was reasonably well behaved for her groom (a miracle) and she came home with an awesome cut. We’ve gotten lots of compliments walking around town. Would recommend Do’s for Dogs to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful!! My Australian Shepherd and my miniature Schnoodle had some serious quarantine hair and needed some heavy duty TLC!! The staff are sweet and courteous towards our pets' needs. Our schnoodle is a bit insecure when she goes to the groomer and our aussie had never been before. They were patient and gentle with our 'rambunctious' dogs and we really liked the final result!! Beautiful cuts and happy puppies, thanks Do's for Dogs!!

We were super happy with the service here! After a long lockdown our dog desperately needed a nail trim and bath, and they did a great job with him considering he doesn't love having his feet touched and isn't a fan of water! Plus the cute bandana was a lovely touch. Very reasonable price as well!

I would highly recommend Do's for Dogs we take our dogs there when we are on holidays twice a year. They are so friendly and caring with our fur babies. They do a fantastic job :) I only wished that they was a comparable one in my home town.

Alice is just GREAT with my Golden Retriever ' Abby ' Alice does such a great job and is SOOOOOOO Good with the best thing in my life, that I am totally at ease leaving her with Do's for Dogs.
