Visited for lunch Thursday to celebrate a family birthday. The special was a Tail-Gator - choice of sausage on a ciabatta roll, topped with grilled peppers and onions, with choice of side. The sausage choices were Muskoka (an Octoberfest type), Chipotle and Feta, and Honey Garlic, and we discovered that ALL sausage served at the Springbrook Diner is home-made on the premises!! Both men in our party chose the Chipotle and Feta, served with coleslaw and fries with gravy, and both pronounced it excellent! The birthday girl had pulled pork on a bun, with fries and I had a club sandwich with garden salad, and we were both very satisfied with these choices, as well. Only very small criticism might be the strength of the coffee, but I prefer a strong, dark roast coffee which admittedly is not everyone's choice. All in all a great lunch at a reasonable price and the plus of home-made sausage with no fillers was a lovely surprise!
