Wildwood Cottages is a Pet Friendly Accommodation that caters to families, fishing enthusiasts and those who want a breather from the city!
We are located on the west shore of the Otonabee River, which flows into Rice Lake and is apart of the Trent Severn Waterway. The Trent Severn Canal System connects Trenton Ontario with Port Severn on Georgian Bay.
Wildwood Cottages has its own private bay that provides protection from the rivers boat traffic and offers a safe swimming area on the sandy beach.
Our cottages offer comfort and our surroundings create a relaxed atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
You can fish, swim, relax, golf at nearby courses and immerse yourself in the Kawartha & Northumberland environment that is home to a variety of events, festivals and attractions.
We now also rent fishing boats, pontoon boats, kayaks, SUP, canoes and SEA DOOS!!
And during the winter months (as well as late fall and early spring) our cottages have hot tubs!

We didn't stay here but rented one of their pontoons for the day. This is a family-owned and run spot and we were so impressed by how kind, accommodating, friendly, and willing to help they were. Could not recommend enough!

Excellent customer service and awesome experience renting the Seadoo from here. They had it ready for us on the trailer to be picked up at 8am. Was thoroughly given instructions by the owner there. Would rent from them again next year. The seadoo was a lot of fun. All the adults and kids enjoyed it immensely. Temp licenses are provided as well, but most of us had our boaters license, which is a good thing to have. Safety jackets are provided but since we had ours we opted out. Overall great experience renting from here. The whole day 8am to 5pm for the 3up cost $382 taxes included.

We stayed for Valentine’s Day! They had an amazing basket for us. Hot tub was perfect. Beds were perfect. Skating rink was awesome. Hosts were amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

Where to begin....my family had a great vacation at Wildwood Cottage Resorts. The location was peaceful and beautiful! We stayed in Cabin 1 which is practically brand new with a huge wrap around deck which our 4 month old puppy enjoyed very much. It has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Its the cleanest cabin which was nice as I suffer from allergies and I didn't have one reaction while staying there. The kitchen is equipped with everything you needed and the furniture was very clean and comfy! The resort had several activities free to use (paddel boards, kayak, trampoline on land and in water etc..) Fishing of the dock was great, so if you don't want to go out on a boat the fishes practically are waiting for you! If you want to watch a movie, the cabin has a pretty decent size flat screen and at the store there's a bunch of DVD's to borrow. The owners Jamie and Rebecca are the nicest and most accommodating people. Jamie is constantly running around making sure everything is cleaned and ready to go. They treat their guests like family and that hospitality is rare to come by. Thank you so much Jamie and Rebeeca we had a great vacation at your resort and will definteky be back for sure. We stayed at Cottage 4. It was a perfect little get away. The cabin is spacious yet cozy. Sunrise was great out the living room window or even out on the balcony. The hot tub is a few steps away but is refreshing, especially under the clear skies where you can watch the stars.
