Ardagh Cottage Resort has 10 spacious, well-separated, maintained and equipped cottages, and one studio apartment, in a well treed lakefront setting.
Each cottage is unique, offering its own character and charm.
All have screened-in porches in which you can relax while enjoying the peace and serenity, eat your meals outdoors and spend evenings chatting with family and friends while listening to the call of the loon.
On the grounds there is something for each member of your family. We offer a play ground, a safe, shallow swim area and sandy beach for the little ones.
There is great swimming off the large sun bathing dock for the more adventurous. We also offer outdoor shuffleboard, horseshoes and badminton.
Our canoes, kayaks and pedal boats are available to our guests free of charge. Each cottage has its own campfire pit.
Kids always enjoy a marshmallow roast, and a quiet evening spent around a campfire can be a great experience for everyone!
Boats and motors are available for rent. We provide a boat launch and docking for those who bring their own boats.
Please do not bring personal water crafts (such as sea doo's or jet ski's) or ATV's or dirt bikes.
Kayaking is becoming increasingly popular. We now have single and double kayaks available for our guests as well as canoes and pedal boats.

My family spent time at Ardagh when I was a kid and we loved it! We have so many fond memories. So much so that we brought our own kids back to experience it for themselves. In 2019, we spent a week together in June. 4 families, 4 cabins. It was wonderful!! And we just came back for another week...this time in October. We were lucky as the weather has been unusually mild. What a beautiful time we had!!! The best part of Ardagh Cottage Resort is that the place looks the same as it did 30 years ago...it feels like the same place. And yet, Robert (the owner) has updated all of the important pieces...new floors and bathroom in our cabin, new deck rails, roof...he continues to improve it while keeping its original charm. Robert, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to this magical place. We look forward to coming again soon!!

Lovely and cozy little resort on beautiful lovesick lake. We stayed in the Pine cottage. The owner was so friendly and helpful to all of our needs and questions. My sister in law lost her cell-phone and the owner helped us search for it at 9pm at night. Can't wait to go back. Thank you for the great hospitality.

My family had a great time at the cottage and decided we could live here forever. The cottage was clean roomy comfortably laid out with amenities two single beds in one room and a double bed in the other. Sandy beach for swimming and variety of free boats like sit in and sit on kayaks paddle boat row boat were provided to explore the beauty of the lake. The scenery was surreally tranquil. It changes colour through the day and the sunset concludes the day with crescendo. The lake has many fish even visible at shore that rush to your bait. The host Robert was always available at the office if you have questions. Thank you Ardagh we just came back to town and already miss it!
