Beau site propre avec des très beaux levés de soleil sur la plage. Bon service et employés accueillants. Favoriser les sites sur le bord de l’eau

Bailey's Cottages, Madoc

Great value cottage for fishing, kayaking and campfire! The common washroom and showers are very well maintained and do not smell at all. The owner, Sharon, is very kind and attentive. The kayaks are very fun. There's 2 kayaks for 5 cottages so not the most. We came here during the week and only 2 of the cottages were occupied, so we got to try out the kayaks. It was too windy for me but my dad managed to kayak and have lots of fun. In a nearby drive there's a O'Hara Mill and Conservation Area which was quite interesting, a glimpse of life back in the day. Around a 40 minutes drive away, we also visited the Tyendinaga Caves, which were interesting to join a tour and explore. You might have to call ahead to reserve a tour spot though, but we just walked in as it was a weekday. A small problem was that the firewood sold there was a bit wet so our campfire kept smoking, but it was not too hard to start and maintain, and we had fun making the campfire.

Weekenders Vintage, Warkworth

A perfectly curated shop. When I need something specific, I know I can count on Weekender's to have it. I've purchased so many vintage art pieces here, that I love, and all kinds of objects for merchandising product in my own shop. The vibe of the shop is always friendly, with great. music playing. The quirkiest, happiest shop on Main Street.

The Village Pantry, Warkworth

This is a lovely shop, right next door to the Smokehaus with a fantastic display of sweet and savory selections to make your dining even more of an event. If you're thinking of treating your favorite 'Chef' to some Christmas stocking entries, this is the place! So many choices, all shiny or colorful, or useful or unique! 'Where did you ever find this?' will be the question! Very attractive!
