We came on Canada day . I had the candied bacon special. it was incredible! The kids cleaned their plates as well and enjoyed ice cream at the end. I highly recommend stopping in
This place is a gem! The food is amazing! We had driven by quite a few times but finally thought we would try it out. We now stop faithfully in
by this restaurant . Food is fresh and homemade! Tammy our waitress , always a smile on her face and provides great service. Maggie the owner who is in the kitchen cooking took the time to come out and talk to us. She definitely knows what she’s doing! Great atmosphere and great food!
Excellent place to stop on your way by on Hwy 62! We first stopped here last year when my motorcycle broke down! The owners are super people, and the store and food are excellent. Food to go as well as a great selection of a bit of everything you need! Nicely organized and clean and bright! The young lady that we spoke with was very nice! Stop by you. You'll be happy you did!
I lived in Haley Station 1940-1952. Our back yard was the CPR Railroad. Our front yard was the Trans Canada Hwy. #17. We operated a Service Station with the old Gravity Serve Pumps. I started pumping gas, checking oil, cleaning auto windows, patching car tubes from the age of 5 years old. Steps at a time. We also sold blocks of ice. I remember shovelling sawdust between the large blocks as my Dad would unload them off the ice truck. We worked hard and that was the norm. I'm now 85.
it's not a home building center it's just the hardware store, if you're expecting to have options of lumber drywall and other types of building materials you will not find it here. love the people here and the store has everything I've ever needed also their prices are excellent.
