I am deeply grateful for my experience at St. Mary of Egypt Refuge. From the moment I arrived, I was embraced with genuine love, warmth, and hospitality. Every person I encountered radiated kindness, peace, and a quiet joy that truly reflects the heart of Christ.
The refuge is a place of healing, simplicity, and deep spiritual beauty. I was so moved by the atmosphere of prayer and community that I found myself holding back tears of gratitude. It’s a place where one can encounter God’s presence in both silence and fellowship.
Thank you for creating such a sacred and welcoming space. I hope to return soon, God willing.

We stayed here on our way to a winter camping trip. The room was tidy, the bathroom was clean and the hot water worked great in the bathroom. There is basic local cable for the large screen TV and the fridge and microwave both adequate for an overnight or weekend stay.
The hosts were friendly and accommodating and made sure we were happy with our stay. You have Woody Burger or the Ranch very, very close by if you need something to eat, as well as other options in town in Havelock.
This is an affordable, clean and quiet place to stay. I will stay here again.

Went here with my Son for my Valentine Birthday dinner. The food was fantastic and we were happy with the service.They even put a candle on my dessert! However, the tables for 2 along the bar are very cramped! We could barely move n have room for our plates n glasses on the table.
Other than that it's a lovely spot with some nice people running it.
We will return but will request a bigger table in future.

Sweet Bee Floral provided the florals for our wedding in June and they were absolutely stunning; from the gorgeous bouquets to the beautifully crafted arrangements, the elegant simplicity of the bud vases on our tables to the perfectly arranged corsages and boutonieers… everything was perfect. All of this was despite a major set back for them the morning of our wedding with a freezer; they still managed to recover and come through for our big day. I would 100% recommend Ange & her team for any wedding or event

This store has such a great selection of gifts, and some beautiful things to spoil yourself! The Lavish Earth line is my new favourite natural skincare line. (I especially recommend the Rose and Lemon Face Lotion). The staff is amazing as well, so welcoming, helpful and friendly!
